Client: Nederlands Letterfonds Dutch Foundation for Literature / Modern Culture
Project: Brand re-design for New Dutch Writing initiative

OVERVIEW
Tasked with re-designing the existing brand for the New Dutch Writing initiative for Nederland’s Letterfonds Dutch Foundation for Literature, I initially looked at what was working in the original brand design.
The previous design had two elements that the client would like to keep and develop, the green colour way and the bookmark.
I opted for a more vibrant, acidic green which gives the design more impact. The bookmark was redesigned do integrate the NDW initials of the initiative.
The design aesthetic leans heavily into Dutch Post-Modernist style with it’s minimalist yet bold graphic elements and a simple, strong colour palette.
The design had to be used across various branding and marketing materials. Variations were created to work on bookmarks, roller banners and tote bags. Social media templates were also created for the different events on offer, in-person talks or readings, and translation workshops.
